You are looking at an unchopped 1928 Ford Model A 5 window coupe street rod that is ALL STEEL. This is NOT a fiberglass kit car, but a real hot rod that was built from a rust free original over 25 years ago. It was driven regularly for the first half of its life but was slowly used less and less as other rods and Kustoms came and went. It has always been garaged and is still a good looking, rust free driveable car today. The dark blue paint is shiny and in good condition. The gray vinyl/cloth interior is also in great useable and comfortable condition. All the glass is clear with no cracks. The front windshield does tilt out for fresh air...The front tires are almost new and the rears have over 50% tread left. The aluminum wheels have been well cared for and are smooth and shiny. The hood is a three piece, handmade, locking unit, made from aluminum...The '34 Ford commercial head- lights (Speedway repos.) were recently installed. The Corvette engine and Th350 trans run great and you will not want for power to make this neat hot rod really skoot. The rear fenders were widened with steel and the only "glass" that was used was on the lower insides so that they would look correct and not all "cut up".. The car goes down the road great - put your plate on it and go have fun at the next cruise in or graffiti night. Other items of interest: Frame - boxed Model A with the rear narrowed for the big tires to fit.. Shocks - chrome tubular front and TCI coilover rears.. Front solid axle with GM disc brakes and early '60s Mustang steering box. Rearend - narrowed Ford 9 inch with 4:11 gears, 31 spline axles, and drum brakes. Engine - mildly built 1969 Chevy Corvette 350V8 with aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600CFM carb, and block hugger headers. Trans. - TH350 auto. with mild shift kit and a Genie shifter..Radiator: Walker 4 core which keeps the engine running cool. The car was built right with extra care and safety in mind.
