1979 Honda Honda Cx 500

500 cc water cooled trans verse twin. This is a very popular bike and there are lots of forums and collectors around the world. I purchased this from the original owner in June of this year. He bought it brand new at the Spokane Honda dealer in 1979. It has 13,xxx miles and has never been wrecked. All original except his wife recovered the seat. The tires may be the original ones. Starts up and runs and drives fine. No leaks or problems. See the pictures and You Tube video. If you are a collector or a Honda dealer with a small vintage display you will be interested in this bike. Bikes can be restored but there is nothing like something that is original and has been garage kept. The only thing that I know is not original is the seat, and probably the tires. His wife recovered the seat. Everything else is just the way it came from the Honda dealer in 1979. There are some scratches and minor dents in the tank. It runs out perfect and has a new battery in it. See the pictures and look at the video. If you set the Youtube video to 1080p the highest setting you can pause the video at any time to see very clearly in High Definition, and full screen, what the bike looks like. I can not release the bike until I am satisfied that payment is good. I can deliver the bike up to 150 miles from our location for a flat fee of $150 dollars. I would need to be paid in advance for the bike and delivery fee. I have a clear Idaho title for the bike showing that I am the owner. The bike runs and drives perfect and the pictures and video clearly show the condition. It is a 1979 bike and is being sold in as is condition. I can not allow test driving of the motorcycle, my insurance does not cover that. I can not crate the bike and this is for local pickup only. There has been no painting on the bike everything is original. The tank bolt was missing so I replace it with another bolt I had from another bike. Unfortunately I forgot to clean the bolt head off. Like I said the bike is original.
