Vehicle Detail

OVERVIEW You are bidding on a 1975 TR6 which I’ve owned since 1993. I’m the second owner and restored the car in 1994. I have won virtually every show since it was rebuilt. The car gets the looks as the French blue paint goes great with the union jack and redlines. The growl from the exhaust is distinctive. This car is, in my opinion, one of the best condition TR6’s out there. Period. I’ve owned this car long enough and would like to get into something else. DETAILS I will try to identify everything that has been done but frankly, there is too much to list. I have invested more than the selling price in parts less labor. I have virtually ALL the receipts and will be glad to include in the purchase. Some of the major components include: 1. Rebuilt Engine – Rings, crank ground, new cam, rockers and shaft, water pump, timing gears and chain, oil pump, rebuilt head, stainless air rail for EGR, radiator, oil cooler, high torque starter 2. Rebuilt transmission, over-drive unit, drive shaft and rear carrier 3. New front and rear spring and shocks, complete suspension (tie rod ends, ball joints), suspension bushings, suspension parts were blasted and painted. 4. New interior (seat foam, straps, cover, dash pads), fenders, wings, door skins, door and top gaskets, re-platted bumpers, euro headlamps, convertible top, Michelin Redlines (nibs are still on the tires). 5. Hood and trunk were plastic media blasted. The body was primed with catalyst drive primer, then high fill primer, blocked (repeated multiple times), basecoat and clear in Spies Hector paint. All door gaps are true (not increasing toward the top). 6. Includes tonneau cover, convertible top boot, shop manual, glove companion, all in excellent shape. 7. This car is completely stock except for: a. Kent fast road cam b. High torque starter (original starter included) c. Falcon stainless exhaust system d. ABS Transmission cover with insulation e. HD clutch f. Gasket mounted wings and fenders g. Black hose set (green was stock) CRITICAL REVIEW 1. Redlines look nice but they stink as a tire. Replacing them would go a long way. 2. Horn does not work. 3. Occasional oil drip – Frankly, ever seal and gasket was replaced on EVERYTHING. But there you go..
