up for auction is a very nice and rare BMW 3-series 325ix all wheel drive. This car is in excellent condition (body and mechanical ).engine runs strong and smooth and transmission shifts just fine also,all wheel drive system is in perfect working condition. Air conditioner blows ice cold and heater works fine too , all windows and door locks are in good working condition and 13 button OBC is working perfect too but power antenna stopped working few months ago. If you are familiar with e30 ix you should know that is almost impossible to find one that is 100% rust free but this car is and thats because this car was always in virginia and washington dc area for last 23 years. The 1988 models are all 2dr and it is the only year that they all come with 5spd transmission ,sport seats , M-TECH 1 steering wheel , 13 button OBC and rear view mirror with built in reading lights. The car is 23 years old but still looks good and paint shins , there are some scratches here and there but nothing more than regular wear for the age of the car and paint is 90% original. Metal bumpers were upgraded to plastic bumpers out of a 1990 325i and headlights were converted to HID lights and front lip was also upgraded to 325is lip. these are the only modifications in this car an the rest of the car is all original and untouched. interior is in perfect condition ,seats are perfect as you can see in pictures without any rips or cuts and they show no sign of wear. Recently I replaced the rack & pinion(new) ,2 front shocks (from BMW) ,left front axle boots (inner and outer),oil filter housing and shifter bushings.timing belt and water pump were replaced at 130K miles and clutch was replaced at 140K miles. it has the original 15" BBS wheels and tires have more than 60% life left on them. it has 152K original miles on it but somewhere somebody entered 13k miles instead of 130k and now it shows in history of the car. but the milage of this car is original and you can tell by looking at it and driving it. This is a rare and hard to find classic BMW and if you are looking to find a nice IX ,I don't think you can fine another one like this. I collect old and hard to find BMW's and only keeping the ones that worth keeping and this car is one of them because of condition of it and being all wheel drive so if it doesn't sell I'll enjoy driving it in winter and will be parked in my garage after winter. this auction is for a 23 years old bmw that is being sold as is.please contact mee if you have any questions or you want to see more pictures.
