We have a clean CT title in hand for this rare car. There are 46 pictures below and we will do our best to describe everything about the car so that there are no surprises for the winning bidder. The body is in good shape overall. The paint appears original. There are various small scratches and dings. The front fenders have common rust bubbles and there are a few small dots on the tailgate. All the glass in in good condition. It is missing one wheel cover. The underside is clean with no leaks or rust. This car was previously registered and on the road when it came in to our inventory. The interior is in good condition. It has been given a quick detail, although could stand a full detail. All of the power accessories are in working condition including the stereo and climate control. Mechanically, this car is going to require some attention. I had driven this car when it came into our inventory a few months ago. The engine ran well although it had little to no turbo boost. There was no check engine light and I did drive it for approximately 25 miles. The clutch and transmission and brakes were all fine at that time. Our service facility started to work on the car but none of the mechanics wanted to become involved because of the Veggie Oil Conversion that they did not fully understand. All that was done was an oil change and fuel filter. The top of the airbox was removed and not replaced, but the intake has had a rag in it to keep anything out. The car has been sitting in our service lot for a few months now. The battery is dead, but when jumped the engine turns over fine without interference. It was running and driving when it came in. It is currently not running. This could be a very simple fix for someone who knows their way around TDIs and the Veggie Oil conversion kit.
