Sorry for any inconvience. Up for your consideration is 1 of 2 first generation accords i currently own. This is the 4th old honda accord sedan ive owned and have yet to see a cleaner one. I've been daily driving this car for the past 4k miles without issue and it runs beautiful for a 30 year old car. Interior is comfortable and it rides smooth and solid like a mini cadillac! Hate to sell her but i need funds for a recently acquired project. Now on to the details! 1981 HONDA ACCORD CVCC SEDAN with 72,089 ORIGINAL MILES as of 9/6/11. Designed, manufactured, and built in Japan and shipped to the U.S. These sedan's were Hondas luxury flagship for the era. Car comes with original dealer window sticker, dealer sales receipt from purchase in 1980 and original owners manual. Every body panel has its original paint from the factory and still shines even the engine bay and door jambs shine. NO ACCIDENTS OR BODY REPAIRS OF ANY KIND, EVER. I did have the upholstery on the front and rear seats redone upon my purchase to replace the original dry material. I made sure they copied the original seat pattern to the T and they came out awesome and cost me nearly 1K dollars. Interior and trunk panels are in great shape and very clean. Has the working factory Honda AM radio in place and working "quartz" clock that you can still hear ticking. COLD AC and HOT heater both work great. 1.8L cvcc engine and 3spd hondamatic transmission (trans serviced with oem honda trans fluid) run excellent and get awesome gas mileage for a 30 year old car. Tune up with *made in japan* cap, rotor, and ngk plugs, all fluids, fuel, and air filter all serviced or replaced within the past 3k miles (oil/filter change done 100 miles ago). Rebuilt carburetor with receipt done at 69K. Battery and battery cables also replaced at 69K miles with reciept. Engine/engine compartment is factory clean and original.. Radiator hoses, clamps, alt, etc are all original as well as the sparkplug wires that have "SUMITOMO 1980" still printed on them. 4 new tires, drive axles, and complete front and rear brake job with receipt done at 60K. These 1st generation accords are getting harder and harder to find in this clean and cared for condition yet alone even seen on todays roads period. This early accord will only gain value with time.
