This is a very well cared for a solid car but it will need a Turbo. It will drive home anywhere in the USA but the variable vanes in the turbo are not opening quick enough right off the start and creates turbo lag. Mechanics diagnosed faulty turbo actuator and you can’t just but that you have to purchase the entire turbo. Otherwise mechanically this 1.9L Turbo Diesel engine and Automatic transmission are solid. No engine blow by when warm or cold. No leaks either. We inspected the cam first and that looks good with no abnormal wear. Starts right up with no engine lights or funny noises, like I said in the beginning it just has severe lag if you try to give it too much throttle off the start. Straight alignment and the steering feels tight. Brakes also feel good without pulsing or pulling. The tires are all matching Michelins with about 60% tread. Exhaust, tie rods, lighting and everything else for PA specks is above par and it has a Current 2012 Virginia state inspection on it. It’s a Virginia 1-Owner no rust or corrosion anywhere. I don’t have any service history for this car. Cosmetically it’s in above average shape for the year and mileage. Clean straight body panels and 100% original paint, it shines very well and was just professionally detailed. Very few noticeable cosmetic problems. It’s hard to believe it has 177k miles on it. Only your normal highway rock sandblasting on the front bumper and that’s it. No scratches, dings or dents anywhere. All wheels are great with no rash. The interior is the same way, well cared for and beautiful. No wear to even mention, this car was all highway driven and the leatherette seats hold up extremely well on these cars. No evidence of a previous smoker or kid/pet owner. Has heated seats, sunroof and everything works inside including the a/c and heat. Cargo area is clean and nice. It has all weather mats included. I only have one key. If you are looking for a nice car that’s priced right but needs a little work, this car is worth putting the effort and time into fixing. I’m asking a very fair $7,500 for this car, I’m not looking for any lowball offers. This is what I have into it and I’m not willing to loose money on it because I can get it fixed and sell it for a $10,000 retail price.
