up for auction here is my 1981 Volkswagen VW 1.6l diesel Rabbit. 5-speed the car was recently in an accident as you can tell so i am selling the rabbit and all the parts i have in this auction! the title is clean! the car was just recently restored last winter and has less than 4k on all the new parts and theres alot of new parts! the car was converted to a early style westy front end.the radiator was damaged in accident so it has no collent in it but the car still runs great! i have many of the receipts for the car also! i just can no longer the engine/tranny: runs better than stock,doesn't smoke! approximately 210k tope end is new topline hydraulic head new German head gasket new return lines rebuilt injectors new timing belt and tensioner pulley fully rebuilt injector pump including governor mod. oil splash guard installed cut and polished intake many new seals+seal kit included new glow plugs new starter alternator was new but smashed in accident new water pump new coolant lines new sachs clutch,pressure plate,throwout bearing fresh turned flywheel new shift kit all new rubber engine mounts,poly was to rough so i had to change them. the car: new heater core newer master cylinder new front disks and pads new ball joints new rear shoes new rear wheel bearings new front wheel bearings new front a-arms and bushings exhaust system, half is new half is slightly older new exhaust o-ring seal door seals aren't new but all are in great shape dash has no cracks good snowflake rims did not get noticeably damaged in accident. the roof needs cables installed the rest is there but is dented due to flying off on highway. all electronics did work in car,all except the glow plug heater which i had jumped to start. the end cap on the transmission was broken in accident but can be replaced with the spares included. there are two wiper bottles in the car only one is hooked up the cvs have approximately 60k but pulled apart due to front ball joint popping out,it has been put back in tho the ball joint front glass has small chips in the glass been there for years and have not moved car also has front vent windows but could use seals the whole inside was coated with rustoleum after repairing floor pans and then was completely soundproofed! quite inside well running and alot less shaking then the average diesel! underside was coated with undercoating! extras included:some might not be listed here look in the pictures to see it all! (almost enough parts to build a spare rabbit!) two spare engine blocks with cranks and intermediate shaft both have approximately 60k on them i was told extra good condition red carpet red backseat along with black one extra rear cover for floor extra front seat cages/pads and covering all separated was going to get recovered full set of glass for the car all in perfect condition factory tinted old style full seal steel front and rear bumper good condition need cleaned up full hood no dings just light surface rust 6 spare tires, 2 are omni rims, 3 are stock vw,one is spare for cabriolet,there is also a 4th stock vw rim in car extra rear axle hubs, brakes,everything power brake booster front hubs, disks and calipers radiator hoes good diesel larger clutch and flywheel good gas smaller clutch and flywheel-like new shifter shaft polyurethane bushings for front end,rear end,struts two spare 4 speed trannys ones from a gas ones from a diesel,diesel has cvs also round gauge dash cluster early style gas front and rear seal flange pulleys clutch cable heater cable steering column sending unit oil pump two injector pumps need rebuilt set of injectors brake reservoir water pump and housing whole spare radiator and fan valves,springs,lifters from mechanical head new set of stock vw hubcaps beauty rings steel coolant line full heater,blower motor and heater core two a-arms and ball joints wiper motor and assembly pulley covers two oil pans new set of rear shoes alternator bracket full set of door handles and locks shifter boot vacuum accumulator for gas bumper side rubbers shifter headliner for older style hanging rod type many spare seals old style steering wheel ball joints reflectors I'm sure there's a few things missing,my whole collection of rabbit items is up for bid with the car! feel free to ask any questions,i have tried to be as honest and provide as much information as i can! thanks for looking!
