Vehicle Detail
1993 Metro LSi Convertible. This has been my father's car for about 10 years. Due to his age, he can't get in and out of it any longer and is regretfully selling it. It has 69,521 original miles. It is very clean for its age and is 99% rust free. All mechanical systems are in great shape. It starts, runs, shifts, and drives without any troubles. No leaks of any fluids, does not burn oil. All electronics work as they should. Just passed Ohio emissions testing last month. Clean title, service, and registration history- see "Experian AutoCheck" (same as Carfax) at the top of the listing for details. The paint is not perfect, but is presentable and will clean up very nicely. The interior is free of rips and major stains. Tires are almost new. Some things worth mentioning: The rear window in the top is obliterated. The top itself is in pretty good shape, and the top frame is excellent. New tops are around $300.00.Years ago, someone tried to break into the trunk using a screwdriver or pry bar. They cracked the "Geo" center lens (see pic) in the taillight assembly and did minor damage to the deck lid lip. None of this affects functionality. Blower motor works on all speeds but is noisier than I think it should be. Speaking of that, the car has spent lots of time in storage. When using the fan for the heater, there is a smell coming through the vents. I imagine something took up permanent residence somewhere. However, I can't find any trace of chewed wires, insulation, etc. Hood is slightly buckled on leading edge. Opens/closes fine. Wheels are aftermarket. Clear coat is peeling away from chrome. Center caps are rusty, but I think they stick out too far anyway and should be replaced with something shorter. One is missing. A/C is not working since we pulled it out of storage. I have not looked into the problem. Probably just needs charged, but can't guarantee it. Has aftermarket pullout stereo. I just washed the car prior to pictures. Any spots on the ground are water.
