Up for sale is this 1988 Ford econoline 150 with a 4.9 six cylinder engine in good running condition , does not smoke or tap or run rough,the engine is ported fuel injection and this is the first year for it it has a good C-6 trans with twin I beam suspension [ king pins ] no ball joints, front end is tight and in good condition and tires are decent , brakes in good condition new rotors and drums last year, all gauges work [ oil pressure runs between 30 percent of gauge and 50 percent ] and fuel gauge sending unit with fuel pump in tank replaced one year ago also works well. THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIRS the engine alone is worth 450 in the yard and the trans is worth 150......Vehicle also has power steering.... Vehicle will need exhaust from the cat back , aspirator tube and diverter valve , floor repair on the drivers side as seen in the pictures [ the rest of the truck is rust and rot free] , heat works good, stickers are good until october , the truck will need a starter but can be started and driven home ....[ this can be seen in the last picture that is why the dog box is off ] Truck runs great and is stable on the highway at 70 mph and under [even loaded..].. Truck is worth 500 in scrap if some one wants a good work vehicle that is fairly good for its age you can drive it away. i also smell a fuel leak but have not found it as yet The title check shows problems but after i checked it out there is no problem. The report is merely stating that the odometer does not go past 99,999.9 miles so there fore the only way to verify mileage is through inspection and vehicle transfer records. and upon inspection of those records as shown here you will see everything mileage wise is accurate........this vehicle was never made in this year with an odometer that has 7 digits so this is the reason for the low title score ...... sorry i have to consume your time with this explanation but it puzzled me so i figured i better explain it to those who do not see it or understand thanks buyer to contact seller in 3 days and payment expected in 10 days of auction end . buyer to pay for item, . any questions email me . .iI accept paypal,
