Vehicle Detail
1967 Pontiac Le Mans 2 Door Hardtop . This car is a 6 cylinder OHC with a manual three speed column shift and Bucket seats. The Engine Transmission and Rearend have 77,969 miles on them and are original to the car. The head is removed and has a broken piston and a broken valve so it Not Running. It was taken apart in 1994 and has sat indoors since that time. My plans were to make a hot GTO copy car since the body is so clean with only the left fender has been replaced in the 70's. The Blue plates are from the 70's also. The car was purchased in Lodi California according to the Protecto - Plate . It was garaged most of its life. The Floors, Trunk, Quarter Panels, Doors, Fenders, Dash are solid and in great shape. The body is straight and has only had 1 Paint job. This is a very complete untouched original car to start with. Buyer to pay thru Pay-Pal or cash in three days after auction closes. If Pay Pal is used the buyer will pay the Pay pal fees. I will store the car for 7 days after auction closes after that there will be a $10.00 dollar a day storage fee that must be paid before the car leaves. I will give a bill of sale with the car and the title from the second owner that I was given when I purchased the car in 1994. Out of country bidders may bid but must contact me First as well as buyers with no feedback. Buyer Pays all Shipping. I Will help the buyer load the car. On Sep-05-11 at 16:00:06 PDT, seller added the following information: There is more information that I would like to give about the car. The engine is missing the carb , air cleaner , altenator , and radiator. The rims are still the original ones. There is no key for it. There is a small dent about the size of a golf ball between the grills. The drivers door has a dent about the size of my hand . Three of the headlights are the original T3 headlamps. The left grill is missing some teeth . All the windows crank up and down really well. The doors hood and trunk open and close good . I believe all the glass is original including the front windshield because it matches the vent wing windows with the PPG logo. Both front and rear glass have been resealed at some point and that is why the floors and trunk are in such good shape. The only missing body parts are the wheel well trim on the left front fender and the left rear eyebrow moulding above the left rear tail light. As with All old cars there will be some rust but there are holes or weak areas that I can see or know about. The rear package tray above the rear seat is solid as well as the dash area. I have tried to give as much information as possible so everyone has an accurate picture of this car.On Sep-05-11 at 17:44:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Since my typing was missing a word I have restated what I was trying to say ; As with All old cars there will be some rust but there are NO holes or weak areas that I can see or know about . In a nutshell this is a very solid starting point for a Great car that will Not require any extensive metal work. Sorry for any confusion. On Sep-08-11 at 17:13:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have removed the back window trim to look for rust. There are three small holes where the screwdrivers are. I wanted there to be No suprises for the buyer. These are very easy to weld up. I have tried to show as much as possible in my pictures. I have over 40 years in Body and Paint and the body on this car is Very clean with Minimal rust. Who ever wins the bid I want them to be a happy person.
