1966 Dodge D100 Stepside Shortbed Pickup Truck V8 360 Automatic Transmission Ready for Parting Out, Restoring or Turning into a Modified Rat Rod! The truck engine has many new parts: alternator belt, spark plugs, air cleaner, ballast resistor, fuel pump and filter, transdapt brackets and motor mounts. The motor starts and runs but freeze plugs need to be replaced - the complete Federal-Mogul kit comes with the truck. All exterior lights, turn signals and the horn work. Rear lights are MIA. Speedometer/odometer is not hooked up so mileage exceeds what is shown. The motor and transmission are from a 1977 vintage police interceptor - the original slant 6 motor is long gone. The bed has been modified with the addition of diamond plate steel over top of the original wood bed and slats. The tail gate is a custom modification piece. Wheels and tires are 15” and hold air with good tread. Dual turndown exhausts. Some rust, dents and dings are apparent in the body, as is with most vehicles this vintage. The hood and hinges are not attached but come with the truck. The truck is currently in gray primer. The interior is in really good condition. The dash is clean and has the original green paint that still shines! New carpet and padding with leather bucket seats. All glass is intact and in good condition. With some work this will make a great modified resto or rat rod vehicle. With a lot of elbow grease this could be restored. Our plans were to complete the truck but we then inherited grandfather's old truck. We can't work on two projects so we're letting this one go. The truck is sold "as is" "where is" with no warranty and will need to be transported. The title is clear and in hand for an easy cash transaction. We will be happy to assist with transporting but all costs for pick up and delivery are up to the buyer.
