Vehicle Detail

Please read the ENTIRE posting before bidding: This is your opportunity to own a 1957 210 Sport Coupe that only needs a few finishing steps to be a great candidate for your local car show. Right now, it is perfect as a show and shine or daily driver choice as well. While my eBay address is in Arizona, the vehicle is actually in Michigan. Also, while the car may currently be in Michigan, this is originally a California vehicle (Northern Ca, near San Francisco) and was not driven in snow/rain and was always stored in the garage while we’ve owned it. The car is running a SBC 350 that was recently rebuilt and has maybe 500 miles on it. The engine was bored over .030 and had flat-top pistons installed. The heads are Summit Racing cast-iron heads with screw in studs and upgraded springs. You can check the specs on the Summit Racing web site and viewing the cast heads available from them. The Tranny is a Saginaw 4 speed, connected to the original rear end and shifting through a Hurst stick. While the brake system is the stock 4-drum setup, power steering has been added to make driving a bit easier. The inside has been updated with after-market buckets. The buckets, rear seat and original front have been reupholstered in matching vinyl material, so you can interchange the seats as you see fit. The upholstery, carpet and headliner are all in great/excellent condition. While the steering column is a stock tilt unit, the steering wheel is a newer Chevy item from mid 90’s trucks. There is an AutoSound AM/FM radio with Cassette and two 6x9 speakers in the rear deck to play some tunes. Also, a pair of gauges has been added so that you can track the status of the motor. As you can see from the exterior pics, the car is in really good shape. The wheels are Cragar S/S rims to maintain the old-school look of the car. There are some smaller nicks, dings, etc on the vehicle but it is in very good shape overall. While this is a 210, it does have BelAir trim installed both inside and outside. The 210 Sport Roof is actually a little rarer . I just want to be clear – this is NOT a true BelAir, it is a 210 with BelAir trim added. Another item that separates this car from others is the Sport Coupe designation. This means that there is no post between the front and rear side windows. I believe the car is also known as a Hard Top for this same feature. Well…that’s about it. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. Oh – in addition to what you see in the pictures, there is a bunch of spare parts (window felt, weather-stripping, etc) and a folder of receipts, etc that will be included. We didn’t feel that a picture would really provide any detail and I’m not up to creating an inventory of the parts. Let’s just call them an extra bonus included…yes? Vehicle Transportation – I have a company that I’ve used recently to transport some vehicles and found them to be reasonably priced, dependable and took good care of my cars. I can provide contact information for you and will work with the transport to get your vehicle loaded. That being said, once the car is on the truck, all liability is the part of the transport company. Payment – A non-refundable deposit of $500 US is required to our PayPal account at the close of the eBay auction. The remainder is required within seven (7) days. Cashier’s Check (from a major bank) or Cash is required for the remainder. No personal checks or Money Orders will be accepted, sorry. Payment by Cashier's Check will require that any said checks clear and are fully paid before title can be transferred or the vehicle delivered.
