Vehicle Detail
This is a 1947 Willys CJ2A. It’s currently registered with clear title and I have all necessary paperwork to transfer title. • Starts right up, runs and drives well • All gears work including 4WD high and low • 6 cylinder Hurricane engine, I believe is from 50’s era Jeepster • New brakes all the way around including new pads and brake cylinders • Oversized brake drums in front for better performance • New leaf springs on the front and back • New radiator • New carburetor • Front and rear seats have been re-upholstered • New tail gate • Attached tow bar and the Jeep tows well • Seat belts – lap belts in front and shoulder harnesses on the back bench seat • New gas tank • After market roll bar • Entire Jeep was once painted inside and out by a texture coat paint that you can see in the photographs. I believe this paint has prevented rust throughout the years but the paint has a definite texture to it • Body has some areas of light rust but overall appears to be in good condition considering the age of the vehicle • A piece of the right rear quarter panel has broken off where the spare tire used to mount. I believe this was caused by vehicle vibration as opposed to rusting out. Please look at the pictures and ask if you have any questions. • The Jeep has oversized tires and the front tires will rub against the front leaf springs if the steering wheel is cranked all the way to one side or the other. This is not an issue in almost all driving situations. • I drive the Jeep on weekends to the kids baseball games, etc when the weather is nice and it a great deal of fun • This vehicle is sold as is with no warrantees • The Jeep should be inspected by a qualified mechanic for safety purposes • Buyer required to make a $500 deposit via Paypal with 48 hours after the close of the auction with the balance due when the vehicle is picked up • The deposit is non-refunable • Buyer needs to make arrangement to pick the Jeep up or make arrangements for shipment within 7 days after close of the auction I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have. I'd like to keep it but my wife wants the garage back. Thanks for looking.
