Serial # 34767431Style # 47-4409Body # BL 1588Trim # 50Paint # 13Eng # 4967818 This is a Buick Special with original straight 8 engine and drivetrain, unmolested and kept original including 6v system. This car has been gone through mechanically with all parts either rebuilt or replaced. This car is very solid and complete, in driving condition. ENGINE NEW: engine gaskets, water pump, thermostat, entire exhaust system,heater/radiator hoses, generator brushes, starter brushes, starter switch, spark plugs, points, coil. REBUILT: Generator, distributor (including new vacuum advance), upper/lower valve train, carburetor (with NOS starter sw). A new engine wiring harness has been installed using original connectors and routing. TRANSMISSION/CLUTCH New/rebuilt shifter bushings, gaskets, front and rear trans mounts, all bearings inside trans, reconditioned synchro with new thrust washers. Clutch looked good. The entire linkage system has been reconditioned. CHASSIS: NEW: Brake master cyl and all 4 wheel cyls with new hardware, shoes and drums and brake hoses. Entire ebrake system has been rebuilt and works well. New wheel bearings and seals. Axle has been removed, cleaned and inspected. Front and Rear "knee action" shocks have been removed, cleaned and filled with correct shock fluid. Front suspension has been cleaned, inspected, and is in good shape. The drivers side floor has been replaced professionally. Two of the four doors have rust holes in the bottom. All else looks solid as a tank. New chrome tail lights, wiper towers, trunk emblem, antenna base, headlight surrounds, turn signal housings. A completely NEW electrical harness has been built and installed from bumper to bumper. This includes the under dash, dome, engine, rear lights - everything! New Firestone 6.50x16 wide white tires and tubes on reconditioned rims with new trim rings. INTERIOR Dash has been removed, stripped, painted, and all gauges rebuilt or calibrated. All switches have been rebuilt. Both blower motors have been rebuilt. Radio works, and has an FM conversion using stock knobs. New antenna knob, base, and mast. New carpet, door panels (rear) (material included to finish the front door panels. New headliner and rebuilt front and rear seats with new foam/cotton batten. New accelerator pedal. All window regulators have been lubed and work fine. WHAT IT NEEDS: Paint. It looks original, but is rough.Bumpers are painted and need rechroming (for show).Glass looks original, some fogging on windshields (passes inspection) Right front pass side vent glass cracked.
