1996 VOLVO 850, GLT WAGON 4D Check it out! CONDITION: This vehicle is in overall Good condition and is very reliable. It has not needed any major repair work and the engine is strong. With continued up-keep it could easily go another 25,000+ Miles! This is the perfect car for a college student, commuter or an affordable second-car! PROS: · Tires are big & under 18 Months old (have paperwork) · New Battery, with 3 year warranty, just replaced in March 2011 (have paperwork) · NJ Inspection is good into 2012 · Volvo Sport Model · Memory Seats · SRS Airbags: Driver & Passenger side · Safe body, metal-made vehicle · Nice Steering & Handling · Leather seats in good condition · Clean interior (Non-smoking owner) · Tinted Windows at backseat & Trunk Hatch (removable) · AM/FM Radio · Power Windows, Locks & Mirrors · Traction Control · Rear Spoiler · Automatic Headlamps · Anti-lock Braking System · Original Alloy Wheels · Carpet is good · Seat belts work fine · Starts right up! · Female Driven! CONS: · A fixable fuse issue causes the following: - Overhead interior light does not come on - Sunroof does not open - Air Conditioning and Heat work inconsistently · The installed CD player does not work, but replacing it with a new radio will fix it easily. · The trunk hatch doesn't stay open without a pole-prop (see pictures) · There are minor exterior paint-chips and hardly noticeable dings, but no major body damage (see picture) · Driver’s side leather seat is torn, but has durable seat-cover · “Service” light comes on sometimes, but car is due for tune-up/oil change at 195,400 Miles · Passenger side front tire touches the under-body because the plastic cover is loose, but it can be removed or tightened HISTORY: My father purchased this car for me in February 2010. At first, I was apprehensive about it being a "Mom-Mobile" but I have now grown to appreciate its safety and reliability. Trendier cars I have had in the past – Honda/Nissan -- all bit the dust compared to how well this car performs! I have used this car to commute to school and work and it handled well in all conditions. Gas usage is standard and goes longer with highway driving. Savvy consumer to savvy consumer: I highly recommend it. TERMS: I reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. This vehicle may be test-driven and there may be a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicle. I am selling this vehicle, mechanically and cosmetically, "AS-IS". I have tried to be as honest and descriptive as possible but I am not perfect. Minor items may have gone unintentionally overlooked.
