1931 Ford Sedan Old School Rod Vintage Caddy motor with 6 Holley Carb The Body is a 31 Ford with no patch panels or filler. There is some rust in the lower cowl and lower doors. The body is one of the best untouched body I’ve seen. All windows were replaced and a green tint added. Windows all go up and down the rear handles hit the roll bar. There is no roof, one could be added if you would like.. The grill is a 32 ford and in great shape. There is a 4 point roll bar in the car. The seats are all redone and are very comfortable. There is black carpet on floor. The door panels are sparkly green. There is an old school tach , Fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, and volt gauge. No Speedo. And yes there is bullet holes like most older cars The frame was all made from 2x3 tubing and the tubing was run inside the stock front frame rails. The frame was all built on a jig so it is all squire and true. Drove it 700 Miles to a show with NO Problems.. The front end is all new or rebuilt. It has a 4 in drop axle. With 40s drum brakes that have all new shoes, springs and wheel cylinders. All new tie rods and drag links. Also a new Vega Steering box. The rear end is a GM 10 bolt with a posi and 4.10 gears. All new Drums, shoes, wheel cylinders. It is all held in by a triangle 4 bar with a buggy spring. There is also front and rear shocks. The Master cylinder is under the floor. The Trans is out of a 65 Caddy. It is a turbo 400 with a switch pitch torque convertor.. The convertor can be 1800 stall or 2800 and in controlled by a flip of a switch. ( Old Hot rod tricks) Trans was all rebuilt and the cooler is mounted under the car. There is also a new hot rod shifter with lockouts. The Wheels are from a 37 Ford (wide five). The rear rims were widened to put some bigger tires on. The front tires are new and the rear are older truck tires but in good shape. The motor is out of a 65 Caddy Fleetwood (429) The Caddy was made into a camper ( I have the photos) So there was low miles on the caddy 60K. I had the motor checked and new gaskets installed. Motor was very clean and bearings all checked out.. The intake was off an Old 50s Drag boat. The carbs are Holley 97s and yes they all work. Runs off the center two and the outside 4 are the secondarys. All the carbs were rebuilt and any worn parts replaced. The stacks are off the same drag boat also.. The lake headers do have baffles in them and they can be removed with one screw.. Don’t have your arm out the window.. I have no hair on my left arm. It will throw 2 foot flames out with the baffles not installed. The water pump was replaced. The radiator is aluminum but it is painted black to try to hide it.. There is a electric fan. Cars temp has never went over 180. Headlights are off a 29 Chevy and there is halogen bulbs installed, there is turn bulbs in the headlights but not wired. There is only one taillight and one brake light in the rear. All the lights work but there is no turn signals. Car runs and drives great. There is no problems driving this car anywhere. Car goes down the road straight and doesn’t wonder. Car can be seen in Mukwonago WI 53149 And will also have to be picked up there. I can help with loading a hauler.. I will also sell over seas. If car isnt sold car will be put into storage till next year.. I need the car out of my shop due to other projects..
