Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is the '78 CB 750 K I had purchased for a cafe racer project. In the mean time, a new project came up, so this one has to go. This is a running/drivable CB 750 as can be seen in the video links below. It was last registered in NH in 2004 and will be sold with CT Bill of Sale only. I have NOT been through the entire bike, so I will list only the things I know for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8BTudOb2KM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_ygROdnl44 -It has an original tank which is pristine inside and has been sanded and shot with a coat of primer; two side covers that have been repaired, sanded, and shot with primer. Both tank and side covers will need finish painting. -Electrical system is working as do the controls. -Seat is in very good condition -Rims are in great shape; spokes have surface rust -4 into 2 exhaust system which has some surface rust but is functioning well -The engine and frame are in good shape but could use a good cleaning; surface scaling on engine -Front brake needs servicing; caliper is not releasing but I have not problem-solved it. May just need new seal -Needs new front tire; rear tire is in good shape -Carbs have been cleaned but need have floats adjusted as 3 and 4 spew fuel; the carbs are form a 74 CB 750 and so one of the pull-pull throttle cables will need to shortened before this bike is ridden regularly. -Bike will not be sold with battery but I will throw in a 4 into 1 CB 750 exhaust (I believe to be MAC or Vance & Hines) to sweeten the deal. This is a fantastic start to a cafe, chopper, bobber or it could be restored to original condition. This is the last of the SOHC Honda fours and will make a great rider. Let me know if you have any questions. On Aug-24-11 at 11:01:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for sale is the '78 CB 750 K I had purchased for a cafe racer project. As I do not know the full history of this bike, have not taken apart the engine or transmission to assess, and since the bike is 33 years old, the bike is sold as is. It appears to be in very good condition overall but please keep in mind this is a vintage machine. This is a fantastic start to a cafe, chopper, bobber or it could be restored to original condition.
