Vehicle Detail
We purchased this solid, rust free car from our friend who did a restoration on it & spared no expense! The professional quality paint is Grampian Gray Base coat clear (original MGB GT color). Check out the background reflections in the car. The list of new items includes an EZ On zip window convertible top, original equipment style black vinyl seat kit including headrests, carpet kit, dash coverlay, battery kill switch, Halogen headlights, lap belts, original equipment quality side moldings, full carpet insulation kit for sound & heat insulation, Dynamat pads added to doors & rear bulk head, u joints, clutch assembly & master cylinder, radiator, alternator, water pump, oil cooler & lines, heater control valve, belt & hoses, brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, flex lines, pads & rotors, special hydraulic hood & trunk lift struts, king pin assemblies, red poly bushings throughout, tie rod ends, door & trunk locks with matching keys, SU fuel pump, and more! It has a polished windshield frame, trunk rack, 5 polished MGB Limited Edition wheels, a jack & special lug wrench included. The custom split front bumper has removable chrome plugs so that driving lights can be mounted for a sporty look without disrupting the air flow to the radiator. The original bumper guards can be removed & replace with early style chrome ones if you prefer that look. This car has a very strong running engine with an early lead free cylinder head, .030 pistons, long center branch header with single rear muffler exhaust system – great sound but not too loud, Twin HIF SU carbs, & a larger fan for better cooling. This is complimented by a smooth working overdrive that works in both 3rd and 4th gears. It’s an excellent highway car that will cruise all day at 70+ mph without breaking a sweat! Points to be aware of: The rear bumper is new old stock but has a couple of scuffs (see picture, although it’s not as bad as the picture makes it look!) just below the gas filler. It looks like someone tried to remove a sticker & marred the surface a bit around where the sticker was. The door panels are new but have issues – see pictures. There’s no glove box key. Actual mileage is unknown. Bob 704-907-0986 cell
