This 1959 Lincoln Convertible has been stored since 1966, yes this Lincoln has sat idle for 45 years, in dry storage, the car is completely rust free, perfect floors, and trunk, one repaint in 1963. This Lincoln is still sporting its original top, and all weather stripping is still soft and intact. We started the engine and it ran very well, but the fuel pump does leak, we also repaired the top, and it works as it should.There is not one panel that would need replacement on this car. The car is complete except for one small molding on the driver's side wheel well, and the fiberglass top boots are missing. The windows, including the rear one, and the power vents all work, the windshield is cracked, we have a replacement that comes with the car. I have yet to see another one with the original trunk lining all in place, and the original spare tire. The original interior is in very good condition, the leather is still soft and supple and very usable, the original carpets have dis-colored with age, the dash pad does not have the typical sag either. This very rare and fine piece of automotive history will require gas tank cleaning and a brake overhaul to drive. Also the keys are lost, we removed the trunk lock that is why the trunk is up in the pictures We have a 100% positive feedback, and want to keep it that way, so please only bid if you are serious and can complete the sale if you are the winning bid.
