Vehicle Detail
I bought this car a few years back with no motor and tranny. It had little rust and these cars are known to rust. The Omega is the same car as the Nova/Ventura/Apollo. I bought it as a body for a race car but ended up using a cutlass and so the little omega sat and sat. I bought as cuz it has no power options down to the manual drum brakes and was a inline 6 3 speed car what's this mean its LIGHT! Real Light. The interior had been being used as a home for barn cats and is messy as you would expect. There is no back seat at I was going to tub it, The dash and door, sail, kick panels are in good shape if you want to use it as a street car but I would still think it would be more fun as a drag car. The seats are trash as is the carpet. As the pics show its needs paint and very little body work. I have the engine and tranny from the cutlass sitting in the car "just resting on the cradle nothing hooked up" to try to keep it out of the weather. It's an Olds 455, 11.5 to 1 Forged pistons,Ported heads,Single plane intake,Lunati valve train etc etc. The Tranny is a TH400 with a full manual valve body,4000 rpm stall and trans brake. The motor combo pushed my 4000lbs cuttlass to 11.90 Et in the 1/4 and the Omega is much lighter. She is nasty looking from being in the weather but you can see what you are buying unlike many bondo buggy cars with a cheap spray job just to get her sold. I could pretty her up and get her running but I just don't have the time and if I did it would be much more $$$$ when it came time to sell. The car has been sitting for a few years unmoved and motor not been run so it should be refreshed before running it hard. This is a project car it will have to be towed and is sold as is. Thanks for looking.
