Vehicle Detail
1967 Corvette Stingray 427 Coupe For sale is a 1967 Corvette Stingray Coupe. It has a 427 engine, power windows, power brakes, power steering. It has a new style AM/FM with ipod plug-in. It is White with a black stinger hood. It has an automatic transmission. The car was originally a 4 speed car and the petal is still in the car under the carpet. It has a hurst shifter. It has black leather seats. The car is in great condition and a blast to drive. The tires and wheels were installed only 4 months ago with maybe 500 miles (still has the blue on the white letter tires) The car had a full rotisserie frame off restoration about 8 years ago. When built it had a new modern automatic transmission installed with overdrive. It works better then you can imagine. It runs 70 mph at 2000 rpms. when driving down the freeway it sounds like it is idling. This thing is a blast to drive and drives like a modern car. The paint is very nice and the interior is the same. Mechanically its great with no oil leaks. The power steering and power brakes work great. Factory electric windows are very nice. It has twin switches to control the electric head light covers which work great. It has an electric cooling fan for the engine. It has an aftermarket steering wheel and collum with tilt steering. The side pipes sound very impressive with the 427 engine. This is the ultimate vet. It runs great, can drive down the freeway with low RPMs and has a nice leather interior. Everyone looks. Engine runs perfect. Starts every time. At first I thought I wanted a 4 speed in it, but after driving it you do not want to change a thing. It is ready to drive. It really is a perfect driver. Recent new parts added were, new master cylinder, all new power steering hoses, new tires and wheels, new radio and amp from Car Toys, new floor mats, new rear speakers. The things that I know that are minor issues. The gas gauge works sometime, I have a new one I will give you, just never put it in. The speedometer works but the odometer does not and is shows 37444 miles The vet is a 1967 but is titled as a 1963. I do not know why that's how I bought it. The Vet is financed. Its ashamed this is not a numbers matching car, if it was it would be worth $100,000.00. But when you take it out no one will ever know. $500 deposit required on Pay Pal. On Aug-18-11 at 21:12:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Everyone wants to see VIN Tag and build tag under glove box. I am trying to post pictures but e bay only allows 24 photos total. I can not delete and replace with the ones you want to see. E mail me at dlowden@tower1int.com and I will send them to you. Do not ask through e bay it will not let me send pictures. Sorry for not knowing to show this in my original 24 pictures. The Build tag shows D3 on the top Style 63 837 Trim 898A 2500 Body 932A Paint The VIN Tag shows VIN 30837S104789 Thank David On Aug-18-11 at 21:25:32 PDT, seller added the following information: In the photo the car appears to be jacked up in the rear. In person it does not look that high. There are (2) 8" long or so bolts that hag the rear end from the rear spring. The ones on the car are 2" shorter then stock so that does raise the rear. I have the new stock bolts that are a simple change that will go with the car. The wheels that were on the car when I bought it were wider then stock. The new tires and wheels will fit in the fenders so the stock bolts can be reinstalled. That is if you like the low sleek look. I was going to change just never got around to it. Just a little FYI for the new buyer.
