1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Hotrod Restorod SS Tribute Up for sale is this very well put together 1968 Chevy Chevelle SS Tribute Restorod that's been completely built from the ground up over the years. 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 SS resto-mod. It comes equipped with a 396 Big Block engine that's tastefully upgraded throughout with modern equipment. Here are some specs on the engine and transmission: Performance Built 396 Big Block Engine. Balanced and Blue Printed. Forged Pistons, Moly Rings, Clevite (Rod, Main, Cam) Bearings, High Performance Custom Camshaft Drind, Roller Tip Rocker Arms, Felpro Gaskets, Melling Oil Pumps. Mallory Promaster Ignition Coil System Edelbrock RPM AirGap 2-O Intake Manifold Custom Built Magnaflow Exhuast system, w/Tru-X Crossover 3" x 5.75" X-Pipe Hooker Super Comp Full Length Headers Tremec TR-3550 TKO 5-speed Transmission (.68 final gear ratio) w/McCleod Steel Bell Housing. All Aluminum Performance Radiator Suspension has received a major upgrade as well. Here is a few upgrades. Front Tubular A-Arms 4-Billet Aluminum Adjustable Shocks AirRide Technologies Airbag Suspension System w/Auxiliary Air Storage Tank 4-Wheel Wilwood Disc Brakes w/Red Calipers Moroso "Trick" Front Springs 12-Bolt Postraction Rear End 20" Billet Clear Coated Wheels w/Michelin Pilot Sport 245/35ZR20 Front and 275/35ZR20 Rear Tires The Airbag system will allow you to completely drop the vehicle to the ground or raise it up extremely high, with each corner having independent settings. It's programmable so you can set each corner the way you like it and save that setting. The paint is impeccable and any body panel that needed work was either replaced or completely stripped before being repainted, it does not show at on from the outside. Paint is a gorgeous blue metallic that's quite eye catching. All exterior window seals and rubber pieces were replaced. All new trim pieces through out including all the decals. The interior received the same kind of treatment with new door panels, knobs, pedals, floor mats, reconditioned or replaced gauges and dials. The front bench seat setup is rock solid and has absolutely no wear and tear on it anywhere. A couple of Auto Gage gauges were also installed to provide more information as to what's going on under the hood.
