Description & Payment/Shipping Info: (Video and more pix below Description) **Please read our entire auction descriptions and video before bidding or emailing! We believe in full disclosure when selling cars and will try to remember everything we can. If you see something we have missed feel free to email. There are so many areas with a car it is easy to over looks something minor. I do not want to mislead anyone and have them show up here and find a different car than I have presented here. This being said I may sound as if I am really dogging the car more than talking it up, but I have to point out the worst stuff and let the pictures and video do the rest! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T At first glance: Here we have a good driver Coronet. The car has an older restoration with some signs of age. The car looks great from about 5 feet away but when you get closer you may see a few blemishes and/or dings. The car has had a driver floor replaced sometime in the past along with both quarters replaced. Appears to have been done with good replacement sheet metal from a Muscle Car restoration supplier. The car has nearly all the R/T emblems and options but is missing its Fender Tag. The seats have been recovered at one time or another, but the rest appears original to the car. The glass is all good and windows roll up and down and seals appear good. The lights and gauges work except for the speedometer(could be the cable) The car has a set of Cragar SS wheels and tires with some age to them also, but all in working order. (I also have the original magnum 500 type wheels with no tires if the buyer wants those instead of the Cragar wheels) The chrome on the car looks original other than the front bumper which appears rechromed. Most of the chrome presents well, but some have light scuffing and/or minor blemishes. The Running Gear: If you looking for a good driver that is what this car is. If your worried about numbers correctness this may be the wrong car. The car does not have the numbers matching engine or transmission but does still have a Big Block in it. It is not a Drag car but pulls itself around pretty good. The car has the original 8 3/4 rear end, not sure of the gears, (works well) Disc Brakes on the front drum in the rear, all rebuilt. The car still has the original heavy rear leaf springs, and front sway bar. The engine appears to be a low deck Big Block like a 361,383,or 400 unsure of year ect.. (Does not smoke at all) It does run well, and has a Purple shaft Mopar Cam and lifters as can be seen through distributor hole. The Ignition is Electronic Mopar Performance parts. The engine has a Edelbrock Carb and Weind Intake Manifold. (carb might need smaller jets for this engine combo as it runs a hair rich) Has original HP Exhaust manifolds also. The transmission shifts good, but if you like to drive it a little more aggressive you may want to shift it manually like I do.. If not it shifts into 3rd before you going 35 MPH. The car also sounds pretty nice and has Flowmaster mufflers and looks like 2 1/2" dual exhaust. To Sum it up: The car will be great for the person who just wants to get out and ride around in a low budget Muscle Car and have some fun. Nearly everything works and runs and drives fine. The car may need some detailing, maybe some upgrades at the new owners will. The engine is pretty clean and starts right up. The car has a clean Illinois title which matches the Illinois Issued VIN Tag. Shipping & Payment Info: The shipping is up tot he buyer and at the buyers expense. We will store the car for up to 2 weeks at no charge, but will not be responsible to any accidents during this time. The car is to be paid in full within 5-7 days of auctions end. We will accept a $500 non-refundable deposit via Pay Pal. We accept the usual forms of Payment but all must be cleared before the car leaves. Emil if you have another plan before you bid and we will discuss the matter more. Once you bid and win you have bought the car. Please do not bid if you have no money! The Illinois State Police have legally installed a new Illinois VIN number as shown. It is all Legal and Legit, just want to be clear to bidders! This is due to somebody removing the original at one point or another. On Aug-21-11 at 08:29:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a note: I looked up the unknown numbers that are missing in a Mopar codes book, and added the W=Coronet code, the S=RT code, 23=Hardtop code, and the L=440 codes in for 1967 so the original VIN number should have looked something like WS23L(non stamped numbers) then 77B0408255(stamped numbers) The first "7" is the build plant which is St Louis, the the second "7" is the year! If somebody could search this VIN and find more information then maybe the car could be corrected. I have no plans to do this since I just wanted to drive it around, and numbers don't matter much on a driver. On Aug-21-11 at 19:27:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Please do not bid if you do not have at least 10 Feedback. Buying a large item such as a car needs to be more serious than that. I will cancel any bids lower without getting an email from the bidder first! On Aug-22-11 at 13:52:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I added the numbers the State of Illinois put on the car, and here is the title. The numbers on the title match the VIN they issued. All Legal in any state. Just transfer it to your name in the state you live in, and drive it! There is no way to prove this is an R/T anymore. The factory stamping are still on the support and trunk for those who care. Just selling a driver here not a show car! Bid accordingly!
