If you enjoy driving a full size body on frame sedan, there are not too many choices left today. The Ford Motor Company has been building the Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis for years and sold a large numer to willing buyers. There vehicles are durable as they have been used in many commercial applications from police cruisers to limos. The engines have been know to easily get to 250,000 miles without a majot overhaul. This one is barely broken in at 122k. The exterior is a classy Spruce Green Metallic and the paint is deep and glossy. This was a privately owned vehicle, so you will not find any holes in the roof or interior as you would find in a former police car. The only negative on the exterior is some rust beginning on the right fender. This can be touched up and further corrosion will be slowed down. The interior is pure luxury, full grey leather that is still soft and looks great. There are no smoke or pet odors. The front split bench is power on both sides along with lumbar support. Of course, there are the mandatory power accessories such as power windows/locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, stereo, lighted vanity mirrors and more. The climate control works perfect with ice cold air conditioning and blistering heat. This Crown Vic is every bit the luxury of a Lincoln Town Car. If you were blindfolded and rode in a Lincoln and Crown Vic, it would hard to tell the difference. As stated earlier, the 4.6 V8 that powers this sedan is both durable and strong. This one starts right up and is smooth. We just installed a new starter, so you will have peace of mind in that area. The transmission is an automatic overdrive and does a good job backing up the V8. All four tires are matching Goodyear RSA radials mounted on the factory 16" alloy slotted rims. Treadwear is consistant, 8/32"remaining on each tire. The alloy rims do have some curb rash and clearcoat peel, this is a common problem with older wheels. We have no owners manuals, and 1 key with a working remote. There are two carpeted front mats. A full size spare resides in the spacious trunk. If you like these big sedans, here is a fantastic opportunity to drive a luxury ride on a small budget. We are frequently asked about rust issues. Since we are in the Northeast where roadsalt is used in winter, expect that there will be some signs of rust on all our listings. This may be in the form of undercarriage surface rust or in some older vehicles..panel rust. If there are perforated panels, we wll disclose and photo the damage.
Every effort is made to accurately describe our listings. However, these are used vehicles and some indications of wear will be evident communsurate with age and mileage. We cannot list every flaw in a pre-owned vehicle. Due to the mechanical complexity of modern vehicles, dash warning lights may illuminate for many reasons. We will NOT be responsible for service engine, check engine, traction control, SRS Airbag or ABS lights being illuminated after the sale.
