1962 Corvette Convertible This is a great, fun car. It needs some work to get it back up to speed, but you will definitely have fun. The 1962 has the older headlights, but the newer tail lights. It's the last year that Corvette had a trunk. This is a non-numbers matching car. At some point in it's history the front clip and engine were replaced. Then engine is a carb 327. New items a few years ago: Carb Cluth Dual Stainless Exhaust Fuel tank Rechrome bumpers The interior is in great shape. It was redone before we purchased that car. The seats and carpet are excellent. The bumpers were rechromed a few years and has never been put back on the car. Thus, the chrome is in brand new condition. In the pictures, the chrome is all wrapped in the trunk. The convertible top has a tear on each side. The frame is rusted through on one spot under the drivers seat and will need to be repaired. We replaced the fuel pump a few years ago, but the one we got never quite fit correctly. So, that will need to be sorted out before the car can be started. The rest of the engine is in very good condition and I would it expect it to start fine, once the fuel pump is sorted. The paint has been sanded off and the small cracks in the fiberglass have already been fixed. 4 speed manual transmission. Vehicle is located in East Peoria, IL.
