I have been reassigned overseas and must part with this beloved project. I put tires on her about 10,000 miles ago. One tire was just replaced because the guy at NTB who installed them forgot to tighten the lugs properly and ruined the hub and the tire. NTB did a complete repair. I have the paperwork. I replaced both motor and starter wire harnesses, the throttle actuator so idle and cruise control all ok now. Alternator replaced, battery new this Jan, 2 years left on warrantee, New Head Gasket, New main seal, new transmission cooling lines, fittings, new driver door snapper thing (the arm that connects it to frame and holds it) That was a big job. I have a new serpentine belt tensioner and oil filter...neither needed yet. I mentioned the tires. The cosmetic and mechanical issues. You can see the Passenger fender, bumper cover and minor dent on driver rear. What you can't see is driver and passenger side mirrors are broke. The pass side may be fixable, motor in that one works, driver's is toast...I set it with great stuff and it works for me. There is no disc changer but the Bose sound is the best car sound I ever heard period. I have a cassette adapter for my mp3 player. I'm leaving it in. The Antenna motor is inop so you must retract manually. The door close assist only works on the trunk.. motors and switches for this device work fine there is just a leak somewhere. Last but not least the motor starts and runs like a fine swiss watch when you get in but after warming through the cycle she occasionally will get a little sluggish then it goes away. Probably a sensor. This is great car and I would never sell but I'm leaving and have nowhere to put this great, economic and most iconic cruiser of mine. Pretty much everything has been done. All she need now is someone to drive her. Clear title, in hand. No scammers, no 1st timers, please don't think. . and gotta moving out. She she cruises great and the 6 cyl gets great mpgs.
