Vehicle Detail

This vehicle sold last week and the buyer defaulted on the payment......so you have another chance at this classic .........Good Luck!!!! Up for auction is my 1972 Triumph GT6 MK3 daily driver...... this car is a Great Cost Effective Candidate for Restoration, with most of the hard to find parts already included in this All Inclusive Auction. This is an extremely fun car to drive, and it's a true head turner. With a little TLC this car will be around for another 40 years!!!!!! Mechanical:---------------------------The engine is strong, with good oil pressure, and starts right up. The car has a manual 4 speed transmission with D-Type electronic overdrive (from the factory). Overdrive was functional until about a month ago....I think it needs a new switch (electrical). All gauges work except the gas gauge which has a ground issue (a short) from the gas tank sending unit to the gauge itself (gauge is functional).Speedometer works but Odometer does not.....its reads 40,000+. Head lights, tail lights, parking lights, dash lights, & blinkers are all functional. New Rear Rotoflex Couplings, Rear Shocks, & U-Joints, Original Front Break Roters have been Turned and are Like New. New Front break pads were installed (but they squeek, may want to replace again with anti-squeek pads), New Brake Master Cylinder installed, New Clutch & Transmission rebuilt. The Car Needs a New Clutch Master Cylinder.....Clutch Slave Cylinder is OK. Body & Frame:--------------------------- This vehicle has a completely Solid Frame, and the Body is Straight with Minimal Rust (original Texas car).Rust areas include: Driver side floor panel has been replaced (not original), passenger floor panel is solid. Rocker Panels on both sides are starting to show some rust & need to be replaced (parts included), bonnet nose is also starting to show some rust as well....(See Photos). Passenger rear Quarter has a minor dent. Paint looks decent from about 10 feet.....but really should be redone. Extra Parts Included:---------------------------2 New Front Bumper Underridders (no longer available)2 New Outer Rocker Panels (18 gauge steel)2 New Lower Rear Quarter Panels (18 gauge steel)New Complete Rear Tail Light Lenses & Gaskets New Rear Break ShoesNew A-Arm BushingsUsed Tail Bases (as a spare, no longer available)New Black HeadlinerDash Crash Rail Pads (as a spare)Dash (as a spare)Ash Tray (as a spare)Bonnet/Hood Latch Levers (as a spare) This is the Perfect Car to Enjoy this Fall.....and then with a Rather Simple Restoration this Winter .......have it looking Brand New to Enjoy Again this Spring!!! Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Thanks for looking, and good luck!!!!
