This Firebird was in an accident in 2005 which damaged the left front quarter panel and driver's side door. Because we kept receipts showing over $4,000 invested, it was not declared a total loss and the title remains clear. Prior to the accident we had it repainted and the paint remains in excellent condition. We also replaced the interior seats and the headliner. A Flowmaster exhaust is installed which makes the V8 a little louder. The odometer stopped working in December 2010 at 199,555 miles. I would estimate that I have put 12,500 miles on it since then. That is a total of approximately 212,055 miles. The engine tends to burn oil and needs to be checked every 600 miles or so. There is a very slow leak at the transmission seal, and that fluid level needs to be monitored as well. Within the past three months, the air conditioner and radio stopped working. The power windows, power door locks, and headlights work well. This has been my daily commuter to school and/or work for the past 11 years. The car had one owner before me. I want to sell this car because I feel like I need a more mature, professional car as an adult.
