1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC **NO RESERVE!!** Nice Color Combination of White on Tan! Good running condition !! I'm selling a nice and gorgeous style of a 1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC, 5.6L engine 8 Cylinder*W126 Coupe. The 560 SEC Coupe was one of the finest engineered cars Mercedes Benz has ever made. Rock solid and hand built in the Stuttgart plant, this model was the SEC's, making it the rarest of all 500 Series. With a MSRP of $58,700 the 1986 SEC was not for everyone. To put the price in perspective, you could buy 2 Corvettes and have enough change left to buy a Ford Taurus at that time. These cars oozed quality and excess. They were not for everyone. The look and price boasted about it. Doctors, High Priced Lawyers, Athletes and Royals were the target market. In fact Princess Diana always cherished her SEC as her favorite car. The 5 Liter V8 dispensed 275 HP and the power delivery was breathtaking. Highway handling is a dream. The faster you go the more comforting the ride. 162,450 actual miles. This Coupe is in good condition overall physically and mechanically, see for yourself in the photos below. This Coupe comes with 2 sets of keys. This is a California car with NO RUST and everything works good. The Sunroof works for the rear part (up and down) but it does not slide all the way open. The Air Condition works except it does not blow in the center and blows cold on the side vents and top vents. The exterior paint is White and in good condition except for a small scratch on the Driver's side. The body looks very nice in condition and overall as there are no major dents or damage. There is a scratch on the bumper as shown in the photo. The interior has nice Tan leather seats in good condition and very comfortable to sit on, except the arm rest has some wear as shown in photo. The dash is in good condition with no cracks and no damage. The car is clean inside and out. The windows are all in good condition. This Mercedes starts and runs fine with very good acceleration. Owners manual is included with this vehicle as well as previous repair receipts. All the electrical amenities are working. All the gauges are working.
