Vehicle Detail

I am Moving to NYC and can't take this car with me, otherwise I'd be keeping it. This car is being sold "as is." Overall the car is in good shape, the paint is still in decent shape but has a few dents and dings (nothing major). The car does need a couple of things done to it: the windshield needs to be replaced; the passenger side front wheel bearing is making some noise and needs to be replaced (I"m pretty confident that it's the wheel bearing); the driver side C/V axle is popping (even though I just replaced the C/V axles on both sides, I must have got a defective part from Autozone, the boots are still intact and not leaking); the A/C is not working (I know that the evaporator core has a large leak, once that is fixed the system should be operative). The car has a quirky speedometer/odometer, usually it works, but sometimes it does not. The odometer reads 128,359 but I'm guessing the car actually has closer to 160k. The car has not been driven much at all for the last six years. For the last three, I have been in grad school and lived walking within walking distance of school, I have driven the car a maximum of 3000 miles in the last three years. The engine on the car runs perfectly and the transmission is smooth. The motor is original and the timing belt was replaced at about 100k (right about the time the speedometer started acting strangely). The exhaust system is brand new from the cat back as of last summer. I also put two new tires on it last summer. Still has the Honda factor floormats as well. Please let me know if you have any questions. Anyone local is welcome to come inspect and drive the car. Despite the issues mentioned the car really is in great shape. On Aug-15-11 at 05:40:30 PDT, seller added the following information: ***While driving the car this moring I thought of a couple of other things I should add. The cup holder is missing from the front console, this should be visable in the interior photos. The cover for jockeybox/arm rest is bit wiggley, it works fine but the screws are coming loose, etc. Also, the windsheild was broken by a tree branch that fell on the car in my driveway, this left a small dent in the driverside pillar (side frame of the windsheild)--this is clearly visible in the photos. ***Also please note that the odometer is not accurate. I've given my best estimation of the total milage, but I don't want anyone buying the car thinking it actually has 128k on it. Please let me know if you have questions or would like additional pictures. Happy bidding! On Aug-17-11 at 20:57:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a number of questions so I thought that I would add some additional info here in case others had the same questions. I am the third owner. My mother was the second owner; she bought the car used from the local Honda dealer with about 60k miles on it. The car has been well maintained, regular oil changes, etc. The motor is clean and does not leak or burn oil. I never have to add oil between changes. I use Mobile One full synthetic oil. All of the electrical is in good working order, power windows all work fine, locks, lights, etc. it all works. The check engine light is not on, and to my knowledge has never come on. It is a non-smoker car. The cloth and carpets are in good condition, but are a bit dirty (as you can likely see in the photos). Since I wasn't driving the car much at all during the last 3 years my kids occasionally used it as their playground, I blame them for the dirty interior. I'm quite confident that it all would clean up nicely with a good shampooing. Up until 2008, the car was always kept in a garage.
