Up for auction is my 1965 Pontiac Catalina. It is the 2 dr hdtp model that sports the fastback style rear window. I had the Catalina shipped up here to IL from Texas which is verified on the title. The car's floors are original and look like a 5 yr. old car. This car is solid , straight, and very sharp. The trunk floor is 85% fine, just needs alittle patch so I'm dropping the opening price $500. which should more then reflect that repair. Even the original red carpet shows litle if any wear, however it does need new seat covers. Interior, and door panels perfect & complete including the factory radio. It's a non-AC car. The engine compartment is cleaned, detailed, and painted nice ready for a new motor. The car came w/o the engine, but I do have the original transmission and all linkage. (I do have a 400 cid shortblock for $500. available) The Catalina has had every dent and imperfection repaired professionally and is awaiting fresh Red paint. IT IS STRAIGHT & SOLID The Catalina has had a Brand New set of R225 70 15's Goodyear Eagles. The stock rims were bead blastered, sealed, primered, and black. Original Pontiac Poverty caps were installed w/ 1 extra. (just in case) New brakes, bumpers straight, alll glass perfect, rear window resealed, qtr. chrome (finally) found and installed. Includes original driveshaft, linkage, transmission, refuribshed perfect crossmember and radiator. This is just one GREAT looking car. Making it a 2+2 421 easy. Was my plan but too many toys...... Some of the pictures are early, some recent. You will be surprizingly happy and proud of this car. A REAL piece of Pontiac History !!!!! I hate to part with her.
