Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1986 Nissan 300zx that currently is not in running condition. I bought it with the intent to fix it up and after putting $500 in parts into it I gave up and decided I'm just not destined to be a mechanic. It had a little bit of engine knock when I got it, figured it was bad gas since it had barely been driven in the past couple years, it would run alright, but stall a little when I got it, but after changing the spark plugs it wouldn't idle, and as I'm going back to school in 2 weeks it's time to sell. New Parts: Fuel FilterAir FilterBatterySpark Plugs (whoops)WiresDistributor CapEngine Cleaner AdditivesProbably more Exterior: Red paint that's pretty faded, minor rust as would be expected with a 25 year old car, there's a crack in the bumper, but with a little bondo and paint this thing would look pristine Interior: Immaculate, I could barely believe how great it looked, the seats are clean, the carpet is in great shape, and the dash is barely faded at all, the only negative on the entire interior is the center console cover (just a 12x6 piece of foam) that's faded, other than that all the electrical seems to work besides the speedo, which worked when I went to check it out, so I'm guessing it's a loose cable. Engine: Not really sure what's up, don't know if it'd take spark plugs properly gapped or a new engine to get it where you want it, but needless to say it needs a little work (or just someone who knows what they're doing.) Also, I think the alternator may be shot because the new battery I bought is now dead, so you'll either need to bring a charger or jumps if you plan on starting it Any questions feel free to e-mail and I'll get back to you right away. Thanks for looking!
