I purchased this beautiful CB750 on 5/5/05 from Thomas Arnone in Kalisbell, Montana. Mr. Arnone is a specialist in restoring vintage Hondas with an emphasis on the CB500. As he explained to me at the time..."At 5'7" and 155 pounds, at 73 years of age, "It is just too big for me." I bought the bike and have only ridden it 315 miles since. I find it so amazing to look at that it has spent almost the entire time in my office. (See photo) Since I purchased the bike I have started it regularly and changed the oil and filter each year just to keep things fresh. The condition of this bike is such that it has obviously been inside almost every day of its 39 years. Its birthday is 4/1972. Mr. Arnone replaced the original tank and side covers. The original color of this bike was Candy Gold. He repainted it Candy Ruby Red and did a beautiful job. The speedometer and tachometer have crackled faces, a patina that is cool! The fairing is the one I wanted when at 17, I bought my first Honda CB750, but I couldn't afford it after spending every last dollar on the new bike! The pipes are original with new baffles which I installed. Tom liked it loud, I like it stock. The sound of a CB750 is unmatched and unmistakeable. The saddle is original with no rips or cracks, It is missing the strap. The bike comes with its original tool kit and owners manual. This bike runs and rides great!
