1970 Honda SL175

This is a frame out restoration that I do as a hobby and have restored many old Honda's to good riders which this one is. It is not a show bike, but a very nice daily /beginner rider. Great fuel mileage. New stuff : tires, tubes, fork seals, battery, points and plugs, over-hauled petcock and new kits in the cleaned carbs, two oil seals, chain, air filters, paint, foot peg rubbers and other goodies. The only thing electrical that doesn't work is low beam on the headlight. Good motor and clutch, good tranny, shifts fine thru all the gears. I cleaned and red-koted the tank. The seat is in good shape. Now what it needs: headlight bulb, one side cover badge. While I overhauled the carbs, it doesn't like to idle, so I purchased another set of SL175 carburetors that will come with the bike. Needs a better adjuster than I am. The chrome is faded and some small pits here and there. There is no warranty, so it is sold as is and no returns. I recommend Uship for shipping unless you pick it up. I've had real success shipping and receiving by them. I require a $300 non-refundable deposit through Paypal with the rest to be paid by bank money order or cash. No checks. Money Order must clear before the bike can be picked up, usually 5 business days. Sorry, too many scams and fakes out there. The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to pull this off Ebay if a buyer shows up with cash in hand up until the last 24 hours of the auction. This is a 41 year old motorcycle that I have described to the best of my knowledge, So I'm sure you might find small imperfections I've failed to mention. The pictures, I believe, speak for themselves. Since I last listed this bike I bought a better set of forks with better headlight ears. Better chrome on these. So, these come with the bike.
