This is a 1980 Volvo 262C Bertone - based on the 240, rebodied in Italy by Bertone. They are fairly rare. The V6 normally in these cars has been replaced with a 5 Liter High Output engine and 5 speed trans from an '89 Mustang. This car came from a Hot Rodder- it was disassembled for paint and not running. I fixed it, painted it, put it all back together and worked out most of the bugs and have been driving it for a few months. It's fast, fast, fast. It doesn't overheat, and most everything works - I haven't recharged the AC so I'm not sure about that. Handles, pretty well too - has 4 new tires. There are a few suspension rattles and a baffle (I think) that sounds funny in the exhaust system. There are a lot of spares that go with it - pretty much a complete second interior, dash parts, steering column, hood, trunk lid, two doors, wiring harness, front suspension, steering rack, front fenders, and four spare 14' wheels with snows. I am listing this car with what I think is a very reasonable starting price and won't set a reserve. You will need to come get it or arrange shipment if you want it. Thanks for bidding.
