1982 Honda Nighthawk

Hello, Up for sale is my 1982 Honda Nighthawk CB 450 SC. If you purchase the bike, I'll include the brand new unmounted tires in the one picture. The rear tire that is on the bike is in really bad shape. Though I've been riding on it. It needs to be changed ASAP. This bike has been my main riding bike since I purchased it in May of 2005. It's a very good, and reliable runner. Would make an awesome daily driver. I'm selling this one, and a Yamaha Virago in another auction. I have a new choke cable that will go with the bike, that still needs to be installed. The ignition switch needs to be screwed back on (The previous owner had to replace the ignition switch for some reason, and never bolted it back down). The carburetors were cleaned in 2010 by a motorcycle shop and new needles were put in. I replaced the chain and both sprockets in 2005 or 2006. Unfortunately the paint job isn't nice (along with some primed parts)... it needs to be repainted to look good, otherwise, you could just let it be a daily driver. A few issues: The tachometer is dead - unsure why. There is a tear in the seat The gas tank needs to be resealed, it has a minor seepage. I've had some possible clutch slippage when in 5th to 6th gear on the X-Way. When I first got the bike, I noticed the speedometer/odometer cable was disconnected... I asked my cousin who knew the guy I bought it from, and he disconnected it to ride it around the yard. So the mileage is probably off by a little bit, but probably not much. And of course, for a bike this age, there will be various problems and other things unlisted. The motorcycle is sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees including anything not stated by me. Again, this bike would make an awesome daily driver, and with a few hundred bucks, you can repaint it and have the tank re-sealed and let it become beautiful.
