Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my very clean 1978 CB 550 Cafe Racer. This bike was my first build and I've taken great care of it and spent alot of time on it. I've owned the bike for the last five years and it has turned out to be the most reliable and fun bike i've owned yet. I've since moved onto a bunch of other projects and I haven't had much time to ride this bike as much as I'd like so I think it's finally time to move on... SPECS: 1978 CB550 Extremely reliable and runs as it should, has never let me down CB750 Super Sport tank modified to fit the 550 (the cb750 SS tank is much longer) Custom hand hammered knee inserts in the tank Professionally painted BMW Urban Green, hand pinstriped body lines with gold "one shot" paint, then clear coated, the paint is very nice Dunstall style tail section Custom "tuck n roll" upholstery Clip on handlebars Custom dumby light guage panel mount ontop of the triple tree Newer CBR hand control switches Newer GSXR front master cylinder with sperate level reservoir so it does not leak all over like the stock lever does when mounted on clip ons Brand new bridgestone spitfire tires, rear is a 130, front is a 120 Custom dual disc front brake setup with drilled rotors and braided lines Progressive black rear shocks New RAASK rear sets Mac 4 into 1 exhaust system Custom drilled engine cover Ignition mounted on left side of motor tucked away Custom tiny blinkers tucked in tight Lucas style rear tailight I'm sure theres stuff I'm forgetting, you really have to see the bike in person to appreciate it.. I might consider some trades, let me know what you have, NO JUNK! ****SHIPPING*** I will only ship this bike at the buyer's expense and arrangements, send a truck and I will help load it up that is all... I need a $500 deposit at the end of the auction unless you are a local buyer. If you are a local buyer the bike must be picked up within one week of the end of the auction..
