1999 Lotus Esprit V8 finished in black over black leather interior. This Esprit comes with an all aluminum, twin-turbo V8 that is a blast to drive. Built near the end of the Esprit's nearly 30 year reign, one of the most iconic sports cars of it's time. This car has no stories, paintwork, or accidents. Was recently serviced and tires are nearly brand new with over 90% of the tread remaining. It is sitting in our show room with the wing on but it I feel the lines are sharper with it off, a personal choice I suppose. Also pictured are the factory rims that come with the Lotus. The rims that are on it now were optional in 1999. The condition of the Lotus is very good. I really don't have anything to report. There is nothing to disclose regarding condition that will be a suprise. No scratches or dings. We cut and buffed the Lotus when it came in and the paint is in very good condition. There are a few very minor/small rock chips up front. The lights are good, door sills, windows ext all there. No smoke or funky odors, Leather seats show use but no heavy wear or damage, engine is tidy and the struts for the engine bay are supportive and very functional. Just a nice tight car with no stories. We did test the Lotus at speed at the Sun Valley Road Rally on July 30th 2011. It gave a thrill and ran out wonderfully. Dave had it at 160 MPH and it has more left! We have a had the Lotus for a month but didn't want to sell until we had a chance to see what it would do with no speed limit! You can be sure that it is well stored until you come pick it up or have it shipped to you. Fee and Tax Information: No Idaho tax collected for out of state purchase. You will be responsible for state tax in your home state. In state purchases will be charged Idaho sales tax of 6% to be remitted by Sun Valley Auto Sales. Documentation fee of $195, In state temporary 72 hour registration $14, Out of state 30 day temporary registration is $9. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. If you need financing I can work with your lending institution or I can help you arrange financing. It is best to have financing arranged before the end of the auction.
