Vehicle Detail

This is a 1967 MGB roadster, 1.8 4 cyl. 4 speed, with console. I got this car in a trade. The car has been sitting for 30 years. The mileage is original. The car seems to be 95-100 % complete. We pulled the oil pan to clean out the sludge. We pulled the valve cover to check for sticky valves, the engine looks very clean inside, we unhooked the fuel pump(gas tank needs cleaned) We did all this before turning the motor over. We put gas in the carb., and it started and ran for a few seconds.(sounds good). It has a heavy duty engine oil cooler. I have the original spoke wheels, but it's missing 2 knock offs. It has extra gas tank, trunk lid, and back bumper. The trunk has no rust holes, the floor boards are good, except a spot next to rocker panel on driver's side. The car has some body filler in it, but can be fixed. The rack and pinion is good and tight, the clutch is good and strong, the transmission shifts firm. the wipers work, heater fan works, gauges work, horn works, headlights, brake lights and turn signals all work. The convertible top frame is in great shape, but needs a new top. The side windows work good, and have good glass. The front windshield has a small crack (11/2 in.) on bottom corner ( not spidered). The seats a very soft material, but the threads are broken on the corners, they are not tore up. It seems to have some new carpet that came with it, the old carpet is good but needs cleaned. The console is rare and in good shape. It has a full brake pedal, but wheel cyls. need cleaned. It has a clear title and is ready to go. The car does need body work (pics), but is a very good project car. The car must be trailered. The car has not been put up for sale locally.
