Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1933 Chevrolet Sedan. This vehicle is complete and all original to my knowledge. It was restored approximately 20 years ago and has been stored since. It was stored in a storage building until my father and grandfather purchased. My dad and I had intentions of restoring it again, but have since bought and are restoring a '73 Landcruiser for my son's 16th. Approximately 2/3 years ago this car was running. My grandfather drove my grandmother around in it on their 50th. It is currently in my dad's garage in Sherwood, Aransas (about 2 miles from where I live). Sherwood is approximately 5/10 minutes from Little Rock. At the time this auction was listed there was a 33 Sedan (delivery), which had a current bid at $8,500. From the looks of that one's pictures, it appears to be in bad shape and does not compare. This one is half the price. This car is in good to excellent shape being nearly 80 years old and stored for last 20 since restoration. It can be driven "as is" or would be excellent for restoration. I am not an auto body man, but it appears to me to need little, if any, body work. There is surfce rust on chrome, but nothing that could not be re-done/polished. The interior is in good shape. It could probably be professonally cleansed to satisfy. All glass is good with the exception of the driver's vent. It is in place, but cracked My dad has a clear title and it is currently registered with the state of Arkansas. I will take more pictures upon request and text or email. Just ask what it is you would like to see and give me a day or 2. I will be more than happy to show if anyone is interested in seeing. Just email and we will make arrangements. I am a state trooper and work midnights. I have a hectic schedule w/ court, etc., but will reply the next afternoon or during the night time hours. The two close-ups show the car's worst spots. It is where paint has chipped. There is only surface rust. Pick-up only. You bring trailer and take or hire your own movers. I will not ship. As far as payment is concerned. Send a cashiers check or money order for $1000 deposit within 10 days. You can bring balance when you pick up. Or if you have any other options that will work for both of us, I am open. Just communicate w/ me. I'm not difficult. If someone wants to make me an offer I can't refuse prior to aucton's end, I reserve the right to remove listing. If not, high bidder gets. This means make me an offer. You know what you are willing to pay. There is no reserve so you know what I am willing to take, just bid. If you don't want to make me an offer just fight it out with bids. On Aug-07-11 at 15:55:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for sale is a 1933 Chevrolet Sedan. I bought a new battery and ran it low trying to get it started. The engine turned over w/ ease and fired at times. My battery would not hold a charge. I decided to push start it. She cranked up on first push. I drove for approximately one mile. Ran like a top. I'm not saying she does not need a maintainence, but she ran excellent.
