This auction is for a 1971 Maserati Indy, which I’ve owned for over 20 years. It is a Euro model with Km/hr gauges and the dual pod dash. It has the ZF 5 speed gearbox and the much desired original ZF power steering. It runs and drives great and is an excellent tourer that can seat four comfortably. More information on the Maserati Indy can be found at Wikipedia. This Indy was repainted about 5 years ago and looks very nice. Much of the chrome and stainless trim has been either re-plated or polished. The original leather interior was re-dyed and is very presentable. The engine has had a valve job, the carbs have been rebuilt and a new clutch and pressure plate had been fiited less than 2000 Km ago. The odometer shows 57,000 Km, which I believe is correct. The engine runs strong and the gearbox shifts smoothly. The Indy is a great Italian exotic GT that looks and drives beautifully and is only a fraction of the cost of a Ghibli or comparable exotic.
