My loss is your Gain!!! Up for auction is my Classic 1972 Triumph GT6 MK3 daily driver...... this car is a great cost effective candidate for restoration, with most of the hard to find parts already included in this all inclusive auction..... Mechanical:---------------------------The engine is strong, with good oil pressure, and starts right up. The car has a manual 4 speed transmission with D-Type electronic overdrive (from the factory). Overdrive was functional until about a month ago....I think it needs a new switch (electrical). All gauges work except the gas gauge which has a ground issue (a short) from the gas tank sending unit to the gauge itself (gauge is functional). Head lights, tail lights, parking lights, dash lights, & blinkers are functional. New Rear Rotoflex Couplings, Rear Shocks, & U-Joints, New front Break Roters & Pads, New Brake Master Cylinder, New Clutch & Transmission rebuild. Car needs a new Clutch Master Cylinder Body & Frame:--------------------------- This vehicle has a completely solid frame, and the body is straight with minimal rust (original Texas car). Rust areas include: Driver side floor panel has been replaced, passenger floor panel is solid. Rocker Panels on both sides are starting to show some rust & need to be replaced (parts included), bonnet nose is also starting to show some rust....see photos.
