Vehicle Detail
For sale: No rust, California black plate original numbers matching. FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING 383 automatic. Built 6/25/69 in St Louis. ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS include; Two broadcast sheets, owner's manual, warranty card, break-in card and DMV registration receipt from August 28, 1969. Correct VIN match for dashboard, engine, trans, trunk, radiator yoke and rear diff. This is a 4 owner California car. Resession-proof investment. I'm a private seller going through a divorce and relocation. My loss your gain. I've been the present owner for 20 years. Driven the car 1,500 miles in the last 10 years. Box of restoration decals and "road runner" door plaques included. Rare incorrect factory stamp of price class in dashboard VIN of hardtop Roadrunner ordered with GTX-luxury upgrades. For starters...Air Conditioning! The dash is full of functional gauges except for clock. Radio delete panel installed by me. 106,881 original miles. Straight body. Relief lines are straight and crisp. This car is a Muscle Machines cover story waiting to happen. 1992 rebuild of top end with valve job, new timing chain and gears and new oil pump. Front suspension completely rebuilt from bushings to ball joints in 2001. Converted to electronic ignition. Barrel locks on hood. New carburetor. All maintenance records from 1992 onward. Front bucket console car with upgrade package. No need to go crazy restoring this classic. Way too many original parts in great condition. Do the exterior and vinyl top to the quality that floats your boat, clean up the engine bay, and bask in the envy of your resto-fanatic friends as you tell them how little you spent! Original 4 piston Kelsey-Hayes power front disc brakes and power steering. CELEBRITY OWNED in the '80's (celebrity currently on hit TV show). Rare air conditioning option dual snorkel air cleaner with original decals. Ordering air conditioning mean't deletion of air grabber option because of air box interference with compressor. Which would you rather have on a hot summer day? Original beep beep horn and 15" Magnum wheels. Tires have about 800 miles on them but are 11 years old. Original exterior color is A4. Detailed repaint with a teal with performance hood stripes probably 30 years ago. Classic patina fade of paint. Minor dent on front left fender from a night at The Whisky-A-Go-Go back in the day. Original trunk mat in great condition. Car has a non-functioning alarm system. Door panels are hand stitched padded replacements (prior owner cut holes in the original for speakers!) This baby still chirps the tires shifting from 1st to 2nd! Was Motor Trend Car of The Year in 1969. A fine piece of Mopar Muscle that needs a new home. Photo documentation of matching numbers and date codes available upon request. Please, serious buyers only...Since vehicle is for sale locally as well, I reserve the right to end auction early.
