Vehicle Detail
Because of the new headlights and new rims, this car is very beautiful and it's a classic. I have put a lot of money into upgrades and I am only selling it because I am now working and living in Hawaii and the car is in North Carolina... I miss this car a lot. ~ Smoke free. ~ Drives perfectly. ~ A/C blows cold air. Heat works well. Climate control. ~ It has a great in-dash ipod/CD/DVD player with a retractable screen. ~ Upgraded 18 inch wheels. Two of the "Audi logo center wheel covers" are missing, not very noticeable, and I'm sure these are cheap to replace. The rims have some scratches but are beautiful. ~ Brand new Japanese crystal LED headlights in perfect condition. ~ Automatic sunroof works perfectly. Black vinyl seats. Interior in great condition, except for a small 1 inch crack on dashboard. New timing belt. New battery. It just had a total system flush. Cosmetic scratches. It would be good if the buyer plans to upgrade the speakers, they are not worthy of the ipod/DVD player. A 4 or 5 inch tear in the vinyl on the bottom of the driver seat, it isn't noticeable though, because you are sitting on it ;) I will be adding some photos of the interior tomorrow. I have the best Audi mechanic in town, (Dave at Dave's VDoubleU on Wrightville Ave, by the way, and if you live anywhere near Wilmington you should without a doubt make him your mechanic, he's very trustworthy) he has been maintaining this car for me for the past 2 years and says that there are some small oil leaks that are not affecting performance and therefore are not worth repairing. You could repair the oil leaks if you wanted, but it would most likely be a waste of money. As of right now, you just need to check the oil level once a week and make sure that the oil is not low, you need to add a little oil only once every few weeks, sometimes not at all between oil changes. There is only one problem with this car that needs to be fixed, and that's the remote alarm system. It goes off randomly and it's annoying. My mechanic said it would cost about $300-400 to fix. I didn't fix it because I lived and worked in a safe neighborhood and I hardly ever locked my car (the alarm only went off when I locked it, so I kept it unlocked)... plus I didn't have an extra $300 before I moved to Hawaii (I still don't have an extra $300). There's a fuse that you can pull out to disable the alarm for now, until it is fixed. Fix the alarm and this car is beautiful and sound! I know the car was in a wreck several years before I purchased it, which is why it has a salvage title, but I don't know the details of the accident. All I know is that it drove perfectly when I test drove it before I bought it in Oct 2010, and it has driven perfectly since, with little maintenance. I drove this car to work everyday for a year and a half until I moved to Hawaii, and I spent very little to keep it running, probably an average of less than $30 per month. This car is free and clear of any liens. I registered it when I bought it in Oct 2010 and renewed the registration a year later with no problem. Title: The title is in-hand. It's registered to my mom, who currently has the car in Wilmington, NC while I am working in Hawaii. She will be the one to sign the Bill of Sale and the title over to the winning bidder. I am acting as the selling agent. My sister has been driving it some lately, and she can also be available to show the car. Please email me if you would like to call my sister to schedule a test drive. Shipping: I don't know anything about shipping cars, so the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping, if shipping is required. I'm not in NC right now, so I will have to ask a family member to be home to give the car to the shipping company, but that's as far as I can go when it comes to shipping. Payment: Payment within full is required within 3 DAYS of auction end, or item will be re-listed immediately. $500 deposit MUST be received via PAYPAL within 24 hours of auction end, or sale will be canceled and item will be re-listed IMMEDIATELY. Please do not bid if you plan to take more than 3 days to pay, it is not fun to have to cancel and re-list a car. On Jul-23-11 at 05:47:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The mileage is 155,885, not 15,885, I apologize for the typo.
