This auction is for the 1999 GMC 2500 Suburban SLE 4x4 Diesel as pictured. The truck has 143525 miles on it and is in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically for the year and mileage. The body and paint are very nice, no rust, very solid. There are a couple stone chips on the hood and some light scratches here and there as you would expect from a vehicle of this year/mileage. Paint and chrome are very shiny. The truck has 8 lug axles and the 16" aluminum wheels are in good shape. As you can see in one picture, there are a couple spots where wheel weights had damaged the clearcoat on the wheels, but that is pretty minor. Tires are Bridgestone V-Steel Rib LT245/75R16 Load Range E. Two are about 60% tread(put on at 124000 miles) and two are about 30% tread. Also included but not pictured are a pair of BFG studded commercial traction snow tires, same size. The truck has the 6.5L GM Turbo Diesel engine that runs excellent, gets decent fuel mileage, doesn't smoke/burn oil, starts great above freezing, starts very well below freezing with the block heater plugged in. The 4 speed 4L80E transmission shifts and operates great, no issues. Electronic transfer case also works great, no issues. The truck has Power Locks, Keyless Entry (one original key/key fob), Power Windows, Power Drivers Seat, Cruise Control, Front and Rear Heat/AC, Three Row Seating, Power Mirrors, AM/FM/CD Player. The cloth seats are in great shape, clean, a couple flaws possible from cigarette burns-although there is NO there evidence of smoking in the vehicle. Headliner, door panels, dash etc. are all in excellent condition. The carpet is in good shape and has had floor mats front and rear forever, but shows some discoloration particularly on the driver side front, where the floor mats didn't cover. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.The truck runs and drives very well and needs no mechanical work. Within the last year, besides oil/filter, air filter, fuel filter changes, the following has been done: Two new premium Exide batteries, serpentine belt, front brake pads/rotors, front shocks, front sway bar and links, right side ball joints, some of the AC lines, all of the speakers have been replaced-Kicker components in the front doors, matching co-axial speakers in the rear side doors and above the rear cargo doors. The only other aftermarket items on the truck I am aware of are CIPA extendable power towing mirrors, Valley 10000# hitch, Tekonsha Prodigy electronic brake controller, and a PMD relocation. All power functions, all lights etc work. The only notable exceptions/issues with the truck right now are the following: the plastic panels on the rear cargo doors are cracked(see pictures), there is a small spot in the cargo area that has been stained with white paint from the previous owner(see picture), the 4WD switch in the dashboard works fine, but the indicator lights sometimes don't light up to tell you if you are in 2 or 4 wheel drive(didn't bother me cause I don't use 4wd that much and couldn't see replacing the switch just because the lights don't always come on), there is a leak on a valve for an A/C line under the hood(see picture-black cap above AC compressor, will have fixed and recharge the system before vehicle leaves my posession). For the most part, thats what I have used it for, longer trips or occasionally to meet with customers for estimates and as a back-up if my main work truck needed service that took more that a day. The truck will not be used so the mileage will not change, lettering will be removed from rear windows before buyer picks up the truck. If you are picking up the truck, please be prepared to exchange cash for the Suburban's clean title. If for some reason you need to pay with an official bank check, be prepared to wait till it has been cashed/cleared to pick up the truck/title. No paypal, credit cards or trades.
