Vehicle Detail
The car has an Air Grabber hood with all parts. Factory positive traction rear-end, 383/335 hp engine, bucket seats with console shift, and power steering are only a few features of the car. The miles showing on the odometer is 39,551. The VIN is RM23H9E. The fender tag is in tact and is legible. It has the original motor and transmission. The motor needs rebuilding and the crank was turned 0.10. The last digits on the heads are 906. I have replaced both quarters with AMD metal, as well as the trunk floor and floor pans under the rear seats. All metal and body work has been completed. I have too many other projects to complete, and not enough time to complete them all. It is truly a sacrifice to sell. Will send more pics upon request. On Jul-21-11 at 20:02:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I've gotten a lot of questions and requests about the history of this 1969 Road Runner. First of all, the car was built in and purchased NEW out of California early 1970. The original owner was in the military (Marine) in California were he purchased the car. He later returned and drove to NC in 1979 (still have California license plate on bumper) still reside in NC. He drove car to NC and let it set in the barn for some time until I purchased. I later purchased car from him 9 years ago with intentions of restoring, but have too many projects to complete. Car has been stored in dry storage since purchasing. It is a complete car from bumper to bumper, original engine(383 4BBL)/transmission(A727 Heavyduty), bucket seats/rear seats (needs re-upholstered), all chrome pieces, all glass (front windshield cracked), window channels etc.. Winning bidder will have a nice classic MOPAR. Since the auction will be ending soon, I want to make it clear that I have applied for a NC lost title and there is a 15 day wait period in order for me to receive the title to car.
