Up for auction is my 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. This is a fresh, full frame off, complete restoration with no miles. Everything has been rebuilt, replaced, repainted. I have been restoring classic cars for almost 30 years and this is one that I restored for myself, but my interests have changed... The Firebird is a very nice, solid Colorado car, one of the best cars I’ve seen in 20 years. The engine is a 1967 400 4bbl, it’s completely rebuilt, .030 over, .010/.010 on the crank, headers and flomaster exhaust, 670 heads new everything. 1969 turbo 400 trans rebuilt with shift kit and BM torque converter and a Hurst Dual Gate shifter in the body colored console. Rear end is 1968 3.23 posi with multi leaf springs. Power front disc brakes, rear drum all New.Steering gear is 1977 Trans Am, rebuilt and all new steering linkage, ball joints, bushings, shocks... The interior has new carpet, seats, door panels, dash... Kenwood AM FM cassette with CD changer in the trunk, 4 speakers. Convertible top frame was perfect and only needed painted, new white top that has not been put down since it was installed, all new weather stripping. The body was taken down to the metal, the floors are 100% original steel, nice! there was very little metal to do then primed and painted with BASF BC/CC products. It’s a very cool bright turquoise metallic color. All new emblems, new bumpers, wheel well moldings, rockers...
