This car is an older restoration and very clean and is in very good shape. During the restoration it was upgraded so it could run in "The Great Race", but was never entered because of owners health reasons. The car was upgraded to a 6 Volt alternater, downdraft carburetor, electric fuel pump, coolant recovery system and a taller final drive gear. Turn signals and seat belts were added for safety. All of this makes for a very reliable and pleasant driving car. 1931 was the first year for the big straight eight engine and this car has the big 344 cu. in motor, which is the biggest straight "8" motor Buick made. The mechanical brakes work very good for mechanical brakes. The car has won many car show trophys and one best of show trophy. I have no way of confirming the mileage but that is what is on the odometer.
