Im selling my 68 camaro. I dont have time to enjoy it anymore with my busy schedule and a new baby on the way. I bought this car as an empty hollow shell. Nothing but sheet metal. The floors and trunk had already been replaced with full pans. The rear quarters and rocker panels have been replaced also. The paint is 2 years old this october and is not in PERFECT shape but looks very nice. Base/clear. The underside of this car is VERY clean. Everything is new. Fuel lines, brake lines, gas tank, power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, new hounds tooth seats, new carpet, new chrome for the dash and heater vents, I have a stock center console for it to get rid of the ratchet shifter. It needs a headliner. The kick panels and door sill plated need restored and installed. The chrome on the steering wheel is original and pitted a bit. It just needs a few odds and ends to be complete. The engine is a 400 bored .030 to a 406. The crank is knife edged and balanced with eagle 6" rods. Everything is studded. The cam is a custom grind solid roller comp cam dur. @ .050 int. 262 exh. 272 lift with 1.5 .643 .646 Its got forged domed pistons with a compression ratio of 13.8:1 so race fuel only or an E85 setup. It has dart aluminum pro 1 230cc heads. This engine with a 1050 dominator carb in a 3100lb car on the bottle ran 6.22's in the 1/8th. It currently has a 750 holly carb with a victor intake for the street. I would drive this car anywhere. It has a 3 core all aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The front crank seal started leaking this week. Suspension wise its new stock suspension with multi leafs in the rear, big block springs in the front (was going bbc then changed my mind) since it has an aluminum headed sbc in it, the front sits a little high. caltracs It has the flowmaster 3in mandrel bent exhaust all the way out the back. 10 bolt 8.5 rearend with NEW everything, 4.11 gears, auburn posi. I know there's more Im missing. This car is FUN on the streets and you will get noticed. Compliments everywhere I go. It also has a TCI TransScat Super II package that changes the valve body to a manual/auto seup. It also has a 4500 stall, 10in converter.
